Tamil was to be introduced as the medium of instruction in all colleges and as the "language of administration" within five years, the Central Government was urged to end the special status accorded to Hindi in the Constitution and "treat all languages equally", and was urged to provide financial assistance for development of all languages mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

तमिल को सभी कॉलेजों में शिक्षा के माध्यम के रूप में और पांच साल के भीतर "प्रशासन की भाषा" के रूप में पेश किया जाना था, केंद्र सरकार से संविधान में हिंदी को दी गई विशेष स्थिति को समाप्त करने और "सभी भाषाओं को समान रूप से इलाज" करने का आग्रह किया गया था, और संविधान की आठवीं अनुसूची में उल्लिखित सभी भाषाओं के विकास के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने का आग्रह किया गया था।

(c) In the consideration of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), 2017 by the US House of Representatives, an amendment proposed by a bipartisan group of Congressmen seeking, inter alia, to recognize India as a major defence partner of the US, and to enhance India-US defence cooperation in co-production and co-development, was adopted.

(ग) अमरीकी हाउस आफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव द्वारा राष्ट्रीय रक्षा प्राधिकरण अधिनियम (एन डी ए ए), 2017 पर विचार किए जाते समय कांग्रेस मेन के एक द्विदलीय समूह द्वारा प्रस्तावित एक संशोधन को स्वीकार किया गया, जिसमें अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ, भारत को अमरीका का एक प्रमुख रक्षा साझेदार के रूप में मान्यता देने और रक्षा उपकरणों के सहउत्पादन तथा सहविकास में भारत-अमरीका रक्षा सहयोग को बढाने की मांग की गई है।
